Amber's Magic Syrup and French Toast

French Toast With Magic Syrup
We just had the most amazing breakfast! I wanted to remember what I did, so I typed up the recipe. I got the buttermilk syrup "magic syrup" recipe from a Stake Relief Society conference we had last week. I missed the breakfast part and regretted doing so all week, because it smelled so good. I made up for it by making it myself this morning. Enjoy! -Amber

French Toast
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon almond extract
¼ teaspoon salt
Cinnamon (sprinkle on top of toast while cooking)

Magic Syrup
1 cube butter
1 cup sugar
½ cup buttermilk
Bring to a boil and boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add:
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ teaspoon baking soda
