Peanut Butter Brownie Pie

Warning: Stop reading this if you are on a diet, if you hate chocolate, or if you hate the taste of heavenly things in your mouth! (If you hate peanut butter it's actually ok to keep reading because I don't love things made out of peanut butter but I could eat this pie all day every day if it wouldn't make me gain fifty eleven pounds!)

Peanut Butter Brownie Pie

2 C. Crushed Nutter Butter Cookies (food processor or blender works best to crush)
½ C. Butter – Melted
1½ C. Brownies – broken apart (1 8x8 pan makes enough)
1 C. Peanut Butter
1 C. Sugar
1 – 8oz. Cool Whip
1 – 8oz. Cream Cheese (room temperature)
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
Chocolate Shavings

In a mixing bowl combine crushed Nutter Butter cookies and melted butter. Pour into a pie dish and press into place to form a crust.

In a large mixing bowl combine peanut butter, sugar, cool whip, cream cheese and vanilla. Beat together to a smooth consistency. Pour half of mixture into pie pan.

Create a brownie layer on top of the filling mixture, covering filling entirely.

Layer the rest of the filling mixture on top of the brownies and smooth out.

Sprinkle chocolate shavings over pie.

Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours before serving.

Remove pie from freezer a few minutes before slicing. ENJOY!!

(Side note: Next time I make it I think I'm going to try to use only 1/2 of the sugar because that seems like a ton and there's plenty of sweet things in this pie!)
